About Us
Hey there!
Behold the Crew behind …er… well, Reptile’s Crew.
Although in my offline life, I’m just known as Saymé (much less exciting, right?) I’m the reptile lover and creator of this site.
I’m a biologist and, more specifically, a herpetologist. Yes, I study reptiles and amphibians (aka herptiles) on a daily basis!
I have over 7 years of studying these fascinating animals, and have owned many of them throughout the years.
My mission is to give you tips, info, and knowledge, so you can give your reptile pet the best possible care, it doesn’t matter if you’re a beginner or an experienced reptiles owner or enthusiast.
A total nerd since the beginnings of my life, I always had a thing for nature and found fascinating all kinds of living beings (yes, even fungus).
Reptiles became my passion and research subject in college, still do it as part of my Master’s degree, and I love to ramble about them to anyone interested in listening.
I study anoles lizards’ reproduction, write on our blog, and I’m constantly trying to learn new things just for fun.
